The Location was great in the centre of the city. View Minutes walk to the Danube river, Basilika Church and Parliament. 7 Minutes Walk to the Opera. The shopping mail and lot nice restaurants near by. This Hotel is absolute wonderful!!! The Staff in the Reception and in all the Hotel was very helpful and friendly! The Interieur was very invating. Very quite, still fully designed and modern clean rooms, the Junior suite was great! Breakfast was wonderful.We enjoyed every minute, stay in this Ho.
all reviews » Really nice room and relatively spacious - about 30 sq m. Breakfast in the hotel is very tasty. All products are very fresh. They make very good coffe, orange fresh and various eggs and creps made for you. Lunch&dinner dishes are excellent. Especially fish of the day and goat cheese salad. Bathroom is very nice and comfortable. Bed is really big and nice. Good location in the center.I liked the attitude. Very willing and attentive stuff. Spacious, spotlessly clean design rooms with very comfortable bathroom facilities and superb views on Szabadsag square. Great buffet breakfast combined with a la carte assortment of egg dishes, excellent restaurant (try the degustation menu !). Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Convenient and quiet, though very central, location, close to metro and bus stops, with plenty of restaurants nearby. In sum, very good value for money !. The a-la carte breakfast was very good, the champagne was great and also a champagne waiting for us on my birthday was a really pleasant surprise. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very secure. Lifts and stairs can only be accessed with room key. Our room was stunning with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Fantastic location in a lovely area of Budapest. I would definitely return. The smells that were cleverly placed throughout the hotel made us forget at times that we weren't at a Beach Resort, but instead in one of Europe's busiest cities. One minor remark, rather a suggestion: an additional staff member or a somewhat more organised task allocation could improve service during breakfast. Didn't like the staff's recommendations on restaurants. They just pointed out 2 of them, different persons gave the same answer. I would prefer one's opinion rather than 'fixed' answers. Restaurant was very expensive, and the buffet breakfast is not easily accessible for wheelchair users, as the counter is far too high to see what is on offer and assistance is required to transport food back to the table. The breakfast buffet could be a bit better (more fresh, soft bread and better croissants, larger selection of butters, cheeses, salami, also fruit was very average), our bath was leaking on the first day (it got fixed while we were at dinner, which is great), and the people in the room above us were either having sex or jumping around at night, which shook out windows/mirrors and was a bit annoying. All of them are only minor issues though. We had room service and although the food was very tasty it was stone cold. The cocktails weren't fully up to todays standards. Nothing. Nothing. If anything, check-in was perhaps "too bureaucratic". We specified that we wanted a bedroom with two separate beds. The room had a large bed with two separate blankets. It was a bit awquard but it went well. The hotel's breakfast was expensive, so we ate it at the nearby restaurants. Nothing. Very expensive mini bar/room service, but non issue as we didn't us them. Our shower drain didn't work properly. No one offered to help us with our luggage in check-in and check-out. Mini bar staff entered the room three times without knocking and charged us for things that we did not take (did not pay for it). the price of breakfast we paid was almost 42 EUR - incredible. The breakfast is poor and expensive. Hotel doesnt have parking, you have to use public garage which is near the hotel and cost about 30€. Breakfast is very exencive. You can eat anywhere with less money. A bar with a little atmosphere would have been nice. Was there a pool or spa? If so, I wasn't aware of them. Breakfast at 22 eur. Excellent but should have included in hotel price. Nothing, everything was perfect. Lobby is very small, no private car park. If I need to say...one minor thing is the design of faucet - it's difficult to turn it on (need to twist) with wet hands. No quistion!!!. nothing. Although at a dead end street , a lot of noise between 5 and 7 AM : delivery trucks , garbage pick up, ... Sservice slow at lunch in dining room and food quality below expectation. Spa is to small. Hard to think of a negative. Prices of bar and breakfast, charging phone call to book outside restaurant. not 100% sure about the decor in bedrooms. minibar and coffee were not checked daily. Reception staff is not most familiar with the public transportations to find the best way to the desired destinations.
