Me and my wife have an enjoyable stay at Bauhinia. The staffs were very hospitable, friendly and speak good English very well. We arrived at the hotel 2 hrs before checked in time and we were allowed to leave our bags with out additional cost. We were given a very good location of our room which is facing harbor view. The room elegant and have a reasonable area to move around. WiFi is available for free and you can post all your pictures immediately after your day tour. The location of Bauhinia.
all reviews » Room design was very nice for Hong Kong hotel. Even though it was compact there was enough storage space and closets to put your bags away. Bathroom was well designed and the shower had a window and place to sit down in. TV had many English stations and the room had fast wifi. Tea and coffee facilities and minibar were also good. Room is bigger than I expected. Location is great with short distance from the mtr. Walking distance to Central actually. The staff service is excellent, housekeepers are warm too. I left my phone charger in the room. I wrote an email and the response was fast. Great location (you can catch the a4 from kowloon airport express station and it let's you off in front of the Venice Spa 1/2 block down hill from hotel). The room was great for hong kong, got upgraded so decent size, nice shower etc. Spic an Span , complimentary Chocolates in the room, designer rooms, very comfortable. Advance booked Taxi to the Airport at 200 hkd Flat including luggage and toll cost (27 mins to the Airport at 6.30 am). Wonderful ! ! !. The hotel locates in Tsim Sha Tsui where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants, etc.. And it's also near the metro station. Although the room is small, it is clean. And the staff are freindly. It's a really hotel and in a good location not far from Nathan road. It's under renovation but kept very clean and wasn't disturbed by the renovating. I would stay here again. I like that the place is quiet although located in the city and the staffs are really helpful with our requests. The rooms were very cosy and spacious too. The staffs who were nice and good in english. The room, but could have been better if its carpeted. The key card activated elevator. Hotel is conveniently located at the very vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui. Korean eateries can too be found at Kimberly Rd. staffs were very nice and provided little gift as there was some construction inside the building. The hotel is near malls and shopping centers. Fast internet connection. good location fair price. staff helpful. - modern room - nice bathroom. There was some construction going on somewhere in the building as the hotel only uses half the commercial building. No noise but lots of construction workers using the elevator. A bit pricey considering it was under construction. Mainly because one elevator was out of commission as they were hauling up drywall, and so had to wait a long time for the one other elevator. If we hadn't have gotten upgraded I might have been more irritated, but the slightly larger room than we originally booked made up for it. There are parts of the hotel under renovation. The hotel is under renovation at the moment, which makes the environment a little inconvenient. No iron in the room. The path towards the hotel is quite a slope upwards so its inconvenient for elderly people to walk up esp when it rains. letsbookhotel.com should state the full amount including tax instead of making us pay extra 10% upon reaching. 30% price fluctuation on weekend is a turn off. room is a bit small. Room only. No food or room service, no pool or similar facilities (was being renovated, maybe that will change). Clear glass bathroom door - unacceptable lack of privacy. They have to take care that the guests do not make noise. nothing. no possibility to have breakfast.. the hill, where the hotel is. its hard sometimes to walk there))). Rooms were a little small but very well decorated - most of time we were out. up the hill :-). Dirt in the floor. just going that time is renovation. carrying luggage shoud have been assissted from ground floor. the room was a little bit too small. The heat wasn't working properly; the room never warmed enough!. Taxi drivers are not familiar with the place. Security of guests is not a priority. rooms very small , no brekfast reception on floor. one elavator was being used for maintenance activity. no catering facilities. The hot water supplies was terrible at night, it was only merely warm but not even hot at all. - noise from renovation - room wasn't clean at all (hair and dust on the floor) - small room even for HK. It has been around 6 months that the hotel was under reconstruction, but not finished yet. This makes the surroundings a little chaotic, transportation from front desk to destination room by elevator really slow and time consuming and also the rooms dusty. So honestly this time got dissapointed from our staying at this hotel. very small room size, no kitchen no restaurant, not helpful staff.
