The location was perfect. The room was more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast was yet another bonus. The Memphis was a most enjoyable experience and no doubt we will stay there again as well as reccommending it to our friends. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The Memphis Hotel did not have room for me; so they moved me to the Hotel Admiral. My responses on #2 are based on the Hotel Admiral. Centrally located the hotel is fine and good value for short stay in Frankfurt. The hotel is close to everything: railway station, city centre, subway, tram. - great location, service, the breakfast was great and totally clean. very good location and very helpful staff who spoke English well. The location is easy to reach, cost is also okey.The friendliness and helpful nature of the staff. Great breakfast - selection of juices, fruit, cereals, cold meats, smoked salmon, hot cooked breakfast such as scrambled eggs etc. This set us up for the day! Great shower in room en-suite. Tram stop very near the front door of hotel. Our room at the front of the hotel overlooked the road so we could check the tram digital sign and read when the next one was due. I think that the Memphis Hotel should have notified me before I arrived for check-in that they did not have the room I had booked and paid for in advance available. I wanted to stay closer to Romerberg and they moved me close to the Zoo. The rooms on the front of the hotel are a bit noisy due to the tram. For us however not a problem.You had to pay an additional fee to have internet in your room. No, - but a guide to the TV channels available on the TV would have been helpful. The lobby, breakfast area and lift were all very small. There was no area other than the breakfast room to relax or meet others in the hotel and the bar consisted of a couple of stools at the reception area where the doors opened onto the street - it would be freezing sitting there in the cold weather. The street was full of ethnic shops and offices so it was not very up market or picturesque. We did however feel safe at all times. Advertised as a 4-star, but if you go expecting 4-star quality, you willbe disappointed.I missed a lobby (a common ground for guests to meet and relax). Carpet in room was too old and not very clean; window was dirty. TV channels only in German.Room was a little noisy, but that's OK. street noise. Towels are not the best quality. the dining area is way to small, the food is ok but not too many choices. there is supposed a modem on the 4th floor so hotel guests can hook on internet. But there is none. quite noisy, passing trams, no a/c or ventilation.Small breakfast room, no ventilation in bathroom. Not a 4* hotel. Very small room closed the elevator - noise. Poor facilities in the room for a 4 stars. Had to wait for breakfast as room not big enoughvvery basic formoney / 4 stars. My room was Non-smoking, but I could smell cigarette. I had to keep the window open but it was quite noisy outside.We had a broken bed, breakfast selection was poor (got better qualityfrom other 3 star hotels). The noise levels continued throughout thenight, hence we got no sleep. The parking facility at the back of thehotel was small, very cramped, and not easy to park your car. Thebathroom was not very clea, and most things were rested, and stained. False propaganda: "Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge."That was not a 3-4star hotel, again wrong info/propaganda in your website. It showed that the price was like 300euros, and there is no possible way that this could be true. The hotel has a standard of 2star hotel.no a/c, noisy, the rug and towels are so old, should be replaced. the breakfast was disappointing and the decor very tired, the hotel was more like a 2* rated hotel. Real level of the hotel doesn´t correspond to the evaluation given on the booking site. it is clearly not a 4 star hotel. The room smelled, I did'nt know that people were allowed to smoke in the room, everything smelled the next morning. The lady of the reception was not friendly at all! Does she like her job? The lady of the breakfastservice was nice.

From the airport, take the S8 line of the S-Bahn (city rail) to the 3rd stop (Hauptbahnhof). Follow the above directions.
