The staff were very friendly and helpful (though for some, their ability to speak/understand English appeared somewhat limited). The room (double) was spacious and very clean. Windows opened nicely to let in the breeze and the curtains kept the light out at night. The bed was very comfortable (2 single beds pushed together, though I only slept on one side). Very pleasant people, but it was not possible to pay for accommodation by credit card.all reviews »
I came here for d CPhI exhibition.Due to late booking,it was d only roomavailable so I had no choice.The location is fantastic,if you take it+vely. 1 min walk to Hauptbanhoff tube/bus/tram station.5 Min walk toriver.15 Min walk to d messe/zeil/city. The value for money considering the central location. close location to Central Station, nice room, very comfortable bed. It's very near the Central Station (5 min. walking) in which you can get S-Bahn and be in very few minutes at Fair (only 2 stops of S-Bahn) and airport (only 3 stops of S-Bahn). The hotel is in a sketchy area (red light district); lots of shady people around but still surprisingly safe regardless. It was fine for me. The hot/cold taps in my shower were really sensitive and it took a long time for the water to heat up (old building though, so not surprising). Single rooms face the back of the building; if you want to face the front you need to get a room with a double bed.During the night the room was very cold. Radiator is not heated. There was nothing I did not like about the hotel. However, the hotel islocated near the red light district so you get to see (and experience)drunkards, drug addicts and prostitutes on the streets but they neverinteract with or pester anyone unless you initiate discussions withthem. There is at times shouting and loud talk on the streets which maydisturb you.surroundings - very like "red light district". Surroundings is terrible!!! It seems to be "red disrtict"!. reception. Everything.I think it offers "service per hour" during periods in which there are not fairs in Frankfurt, it's sorruonded by strip-clubs and you can have your breakfast in a room which is a bar during evenings!. I was booked here for 7 nights but I had to be moved after the first night. There were drug dealers and users on the steps entering the hotel and didnt feel safe there. After you have walked down the street through the queue of people waiting for drugs you then have to walk through the red light district!! I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.
