The most accommodating owner - he worked with us over and over as our plans changed again and again and tried his absolute best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This is the BEST location in Dortmund - you are in the center of all the action and it is wonderful to step out and see all the people. There is a full kitchen in a couple of his apartments - which was fantastic for us to be able to eat breakfast or lunch conveniently. But there is ample food every where you go - try the C.
all reviews » Location is perfect - in the centre of Dortmund (very close to Reinoldi kirche and all sightseeing objects), less than 10 min from railway station. Very hospital owner. Big clean room with a lot of good things: refregirator, microwave, coffe machine and so on. - Good location in the very downtown close to the night life activities, - Bed extremely conformable, - Towels provided, - Nice bathroom, - No noise nuances, = really fair for the cheap price. Location is really good for travellers. everything can be reached within 10 min walk. i booked a single room but lived in a room for three that costed me nothing, which was okay. Location is perfect. It didn't have air conditioning - which would have been nice - but with the doors open it wasn't too bad. Maybe a fan or something would have helped. On the other hand - I do like fresh air and the sounds of the city - we were in the apartment set away from the bar below in a side street - and so open doors were actually nice. Recepcion is located in 4 th floor; as I was without luggage it was no problem. There is a 24/7 bar below hotel and peolpe had party all night long - it was no problem too, cause it not disturbed me to have a good rest. - Dortmund is rather a "dead" city: very few people in the street during the night (Essen and Köln are more interesting), - The staff is here only few hours: early in the morning and late the evening, - Because it's in the downtown, it mights be problematic to park your car in the summer time,. Receprion is on the 4th floor. And also there is a 24/7 bar near the Pansion where they play music very loudly!. Hot water in common bath sometimes turning to cold. Uncomfortable bed. There is a microwave and coffee maker, but there isn't plates and cutlery. Renovation of bathroom is necessary. The receptionist and the boss, don't speak english, only german. They don't know anything public transport of the city. They give a wryly key was don't open the gateway door, so we had to wait for someone who is always have a good key. The 10.00 (AM) was check out, in 10.00 we were standing with the key, but there was no one anywhere, the receptionist late, and we wait half hour, and if we missed our plane?. Disco under the windows all night. I sleep well, so it wasn't a problem for me. Even though there was a double bed, we were given two single duvets which were both too thin for December. Do not count a lot on WiFi. Heaters were off and a window was open when we arrived at the room. Considering the fact that it was negative five degrees outside it was a shock to us.It was freezing inside. Although we turned the heaters on we were cold the whole night. Without elevator.
