Hotel staff is really great! Hotel is in very good location - about 5 minutes takes to get by walk to Central Train Station ( Koeln HBF) and a few minutes to shopping street ... And near by Hotel is Shop of ecological food! Bed was very soft and we slept like a child! ; ). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is quite convenient, in a quiet neighbourhood but still very central. If you don't have a lot of luggage, you can easily walk from the train station. We arrived early, but they arranged that our room be prepared first so that we were able to occupy it before the official check-in time, without feeling that we were putting anyone out.

We were disturbed by traffic noise during the night. the hotel should provide a map for location. no internet. requires serious renovation. very shabby; sheets not changed; shortage of towels; broken toilet seat; even though it is cheap two stars is pushing the boundaries rather!. to reconstruct the whole building, make new carpets and good beds.very dirty,spots of dirt on carpet.old furniture and smells.not recomended. The room was not as clean as it would be expected.... it was for non-smokers but it was impossible to sleep because of the cigarettes smell.
