  Excellent small hotel. Very convenient for our visit to Versailles Palace- 10 mins walk. Plenty of restaurants nearby with good price range. Car parking no problem- just outside & reasonable 6 euros/day. Staff very friendly & helpful excellent English spoken. Wonderful continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice to wake us up... what people say » . Pleasant lounge, dining room & reception area with useful local info. Rooms well decorated & comfortable with lovely hot shower - I stayed one night in this nice little hotel, which is at a superb location if you plan to visit Versailles. It is officially classified as 2 star hotel, but it offers at least a 3 star experience. For instance, how often do you get freshly squeezed orange juice in a 3 star hotel? The staff is very polite, and has a good level of English. I was allowed to check out at 11:30, which was convenient for a short walk to the palace.

  The staff was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, there was a lot of free parking. There are good restaurants available but do not use the chicken place next door. I ended up with food poisoning. - Clean room and a comfortable bed. Helpful and polite staff. Supermarket across the road, useful for collecting supplies for my travel.

  Good price, although I could have got better direct, but not much less. Easy to find. Really nice reception staff, very helpful and pleasant. Room clean and tidy.   proximity to le chateau - Very helpful on the phone; provided the baby cot we asked for; lovely greeting when we arrived, with a lovely lady on reception who was patient with our French and spoke English.   We chose the Richaud as it was within walking distance of the Palace of Versailles and had parking. The car park is quite small so I can imagine there woukd not be enough space in high season but we were able to park ok. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good with very fresh bread and croissants and freshly boiled eggs on offer. The h... what people say » otel is just around the corner from the markets where there are many restaurants and it took around 15 minutes to walk to the Palace. - Good location to the Square which holds the local markets and all the restaurants. Both train stations are within walking distance. The Palace is just a few minutes walk through the Square along the beautiful tree lined mall approach. The Staff are very friendly, warm welcoming and most helpful with all questions, how to get to places, trains etc nothing is too much trouble. Clean with a lovely atmosphere. Would stay again.

  24 hour check-in service (this was the main reason we chose this hotel.) Location to visit family Staff easily changed our room. - 24 hour front desk was great since we got there a little after 2300. Heineken on tap was a plus after a long day's drive. Good for an overnight stay.
