Cote Lourmarin is a gem. We stayed in the smaller of the two rooms and it was perfect. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious (shower only in this bath, but the larger room has a bath tub and a shower). Each room also has its own toilette. The house has been beautifully renovated by the owner, Christine. We have visited the village of Lourmarin many times but this was our first trip during the winter. The owners couldn't have been friendlier. They had long conversations with my fiance which really helped him improve his French and took an active interest in making out stay as good as possible. The breakfast was amazing and the garden area outside our room was beautiful.

We loved, liked, enjoyed everything. Absolutely an ideal retreat in the pine forest. Very good breakfast. Clean. Relaxing. But the advantage of Mas des Selves is Frank himself, the owner, heart and soul of the place. He would do anything to satisfy and help you during your stay. It is a place you call home and want to stay longer. A bit out of track and isolated but absolutely worth the effort to find it.

Fantastic place! Nickolas and Barbara are such wonderful hosts- nothing was too much trouble, including making reservations for the excellent nearby restaurants (a short walk). Breakfast is sensational, great communal kitchen facilities if you want to cook. Lovely rooms, a pool, outdoor eating area and beautiful surroundings make this a wonderful place to stay. I only stayed for a day at the Maison du Frene and wish I could have stayed for a week! The place is magical, pictoresque yet design ... Fun deco, warm staff. The owner is such a fun and welcoming person. You just feel happy to be there. A real treat! I recommend the Maison warmly and...
