We loved the room which was a converted priory complete with vaulted ceiling and chandelier. It was across the lane from the cathedral which was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. A very peaceful, countryside location. The small castle is pretty and our family room in the annexe was very large and modern. The swimming pool and table tennis were an added bonus as was the communal lounge/diner. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere so relaxed. We would love to return and stay in one of the beautiful rooms in the castle.

We received a lovely welcome from the owner. The room was decorated beautifully, bathroom superb. Unusually for french rooms there was a kettle in the room with a good selection of beverages and dog biscuits for our dog! Breakfast was continental, croissants, bread, ham, cheese and dairy and plenty of it. Overall a very relaxing overnight stay which we will take advantage of next year.

Excellent, helpful staff. The location is very central, being ideally
placed to enable one to leave the car in the car park. With Paris just
over an hour away by train it was ideal. The room was lovely and the bed
extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the free newspapers and magazines and
the minibar (free) was refilled with soft drinks every morning. For four
nights it was very much 'home from home' and I expect that we
shall return.

We loved everything about the hotel! It has such a calm, peaceful atmosphere, with immaculate beautifully decorated rooms, quiet situation, comfortable bed and locally sourced food-lovely breakfasts. St Valery is a beautiful medieval town and close to walks with views over the Bay of the Somme, cyling, and steam train rides. Can't wait to return!
