  The room had touches of extra effort from the decorations to little candies left on the night stand. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, the breakfast well priced and delicious. This was the best hotel we stayed in out of hotels in London, Paris, Mont. St Michel and Normandy.   Such friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Very peaceful location apart from the duck that woke me up at 5.a.m. Tuesday morning quacking very loudly. Would definitely book again. - Le Chanteclair is a great find! It is within walking distance of themain section of town and the management is very friendly and easy toapproach.   This is our third stay at Hôtel d'Arromanches Pappagall and it gets better each time. We will be back again. My family of four booked two rooms for two nights in late February 2013. The rooms were comfortable, clean and centrally located. We were greeted warmly and the staff worked hard to please us. Visiting this hotel just for an overnight stay ... what people say » would be a very good idea for anyone, but you must try the food. The head chef is young, but he is oh-so-good. We've been to Europe 13 times in 14 yea - The owners were very friendly and took great care of us from the moment we walked in the door. The hotel is right at the heart of town, near the museum, beach, a great patisserie, shops and restaurants. Why go to another restaurant, though, when the best dinner we had on our trip was courtesy of the chef the inn hired for their restaurant. Chef Amaury is fantastic. The town is in a great location if you intend to go to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery.
