  Very good location. We appreciated the heated outdoor pool with fantastic views of Houlgate. About 15 min walk down to the beach and downtown. About 1 hour driv - Fab location for exploring the surrounding towns and countryside. The complex was clean and well maintained and the pool was very nice. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our Spa treatments. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and tips on where to visit and good restaurants nearby. The town itself is lovely - very French and not too touristy. This is a French resort so don't expect everyone to speak English. We loved the fact that we only saw one other Engl

  The staff spoke excellent english. They were extremely helpful when booking in and also throughout my stay. A short walk to the centre of Honfleur made everything just perfect for a short break - The hotel was excellent. The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot from the center of the town.   It's a beautiful hotel with lovely loft rooms in a nice little town. I loved that each of the 3 rooms we had was slightly different. The lobby and breakfast areas are very charming and homey. All 5 of us simply loved the place. - I liked everything about Le Lion d'Or.

  We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with cooking facilities although we ate in the town. New with a lovely spa pool and indoor children pools with slides etc. Very clean, we had patio area with table and chairs. Walked into town about 10 mins via direct tarmac paths.
