  The wonderful staff member who checked us in - the friendliest we encountered anywhere in our three week trip. We upgraded our room to a mountain view, and were rewarded with a view of the mount Blanc on our second morning. Room was small but comfortable.   Great quiet place to stay though you need a car.Our only concern was breakfast which was 8.50 Euro was very small little choice with bad fruit served.   Hotel is very good, just a little far from the city, we drove for a long time to get there, but the staff are very good, they wait us for till the middle night. you can cook in the room by the things hotel provided (We haven't tried).   Good location, friendly service and great value for money. We paid a bit extra for a view of lake Geneve and were happy to do the 5-6 minute walk into the city centre. Lake Geneve is so tranquil, we walked along the promenade several times during the day and was amazing to see it change colours as the sunset. The staff at the reception is welcoming and helpful. The lake room overlooking the lake has a wonderful view and on the balcony you should definitely enjoy a drink with your beloved one.   Really liked the couple and staff that ran the hotel - extremely friendly and very accomodating (as we wanted to check out later due to flight times). Liked the bar downstairs and thought the breakfast hada great selection. Budget friendly and excellent value for money. Really liked the fact the lifts are so close - literally 100 yds up the road -... what people say » ideal! Glad we stayed in La Linga rather than Chatel or Morzine as both are quite big but La Linga has a much more village feel. Great shower to - po - The staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to help us. The bar was a very nice, relaxing and welcoming place to sit in after a day of skiing. The food was very good and very satisfying. The bedroom had everything we needed and was very clean. The location of the hotel was excellent - over the road from our ski hire shop and very close to the ski lifts.
