  Friendliness - I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my girlfriend and I have to say - everything was perfect, hotel staff was very kind, friendly, there was no problem with speaking English and I could obtain many useful information of them.   The staff is very nice. My room has been upgraded and it is on the eighth floor. The room is very very comfortable and nice. THere is a very good view and you can enjoy the view of paris. Although the lift is broken down, the staff has arranged someone to help me carry the luggage upto my room. So I think there will not be - The location is perfect. If you are young, you can walk everywhere. As a back up, two metro stations, Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg-Saint Denis are only steps away. I was worried about the traffic noise at night, but on the third floor it was no problem.

The receptionist gave us comprehensive information about location, transport and sightseeing. The sweety at the receptionist desk is a must!   Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.
