    Beautiful small house with great location. Lovely hosts (a little French would help to connect, but even with their little English we got along great), very cozy/homelike atmosphere. Could use their parking garage (which is great, since parking is difficult to find in Marseille). - We loved this place. only 3 rooms 1 up a spiral staircase but the... what people say » other two are very accessible being on the groundfloor. Lovely hosts and once you've checked in are happy to provide you with city tips, and insider information. Highly recommended, we hope to return.

    We have stayed at Villa Monticelli for 4 days and we absolutely loved it! Delicious breakfast, beautiful balcony, cosy rooms and friendly owners (the family which owns the Villa and their wonderful dog).     This is a clean room in a 2-bedroom apartment - at the 4th floor in a block of flats - shared with the host. - Philippe friendliness and sharing of information.     We went to Merseilles as part of our honeymoon. The owner Danielle "Jeanette" is also a travel agent herself, and her personal experience and very warm and friendly nature ensured that we were well prepared for our few days in this beautiful city. The feast of a breakfast was absolutely amazing with delicious Italian coffee and a selection of past... what people say » ries, cakes, freshly cut exotic fruits, yoghurt, jams, bread etc. the rooms were clean, new and comfortable. The metro is literally just across the ro - The hostesse / owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about Marseille. The rooms and breakfast area were clean and modern, and the breakfast was very good. We only stayed for a short trip to watch the football ( Arsenal ) at the Stade Velodrome opposite, but if I was touring Marseille I would definitely stay here. The Metro was five minutes away and would take you to all the parts of Marseille. I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend it.
