  This is a delightful older hotel with nice room, showers that work perfectly and a wonderful attached restaurant featuring a wood-fired grill and very reasonable prices. The hotel and resto overlook a private park by the side of the river. The hotel was quiet, the beds very comfortable. This is a truly nice place. We would certainly stay here aga... what people say » in. - Friendly and efficient service both at reception and in the restaurant. The hotel has character and individual features not bland impersonality that so many chain hotels offer. Domfront itself has a very attractive old centre and interesting historical links.

  From time to time in life, one is just taken away by an experience. Victoria's warmth, welcome and simple pure generosity of spirit did this for me. I travel all the time. I am in and out of hotels, and various forms of accommodation on a permanent basis but I have to admit that I have never felt so welcome in someone's home than I was at Belle Va... what people say » llee. I really hope that my travels will give me a reason to return. It was simply delightful. The home is spectacular, the setting is idyllic, the ro - Belle Vallee is exactly how a Chambre d"hote should be. Lovely location, welcoming, clean, comfortable and above all expectations. Beautifully presented and Victoria made us very welcome in their charming lounge with a tray of tea and lemon cake. Our room the Juniper, was lovely with views over the garden and every aspect had been well thought out, good quality furniture, fittings and bedding. Wished we had known that we could have had an evening meal there, but I missed that detail on letsboo
