As this trip included both business and leisure considerations, the hotel was ideal for business access & commuting by train into Cannes, as well as for relaxation by the beach, excellent shopping & good restaurants in the evening. 2-Hotel is in a fantastic medieval village that is still inhabited and sits atop a high hill (or small mountain) with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains.
3-Fabulous gourmet restaurant with Chef Stephan. Dinner is not to be missed! Try the goat cheese spread, and steak or chicken dinners. Never had a bad meal.
4-Walking through picturesque medieval village and taking pictures.

I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. Very courteous and helpful staff with unassuming manners. - Nice candies :)

Everything was lovely. We arrived late and the staff was very helpful and made us welcome. We were able to get seated in the restaurant before the kitchen closed but no one hurried us. Room was incredible and the view spectacular. We will definitely stay again -

Being November and all, was still a nice setting and location. Just a shirt stroll to Antibes, market, and bars and restaurants. Staff really friendly and helpful with helping with my baggage and parking the car. My room didn't face the sea and was rather dark, but was very cleans and and oversized, like a small apartment. Fridge was stocked with drinks at very over inflated prices but hey that's France.
