The staff on reception couldnt have been more helpful, the room had a lot of character and location was excellent to get the real feel of nice. We loved Le Grimaldi it was better than I expected. I did a lot of researching on trip advisor and cannot understand how anyone could have any complaints. Lovely hotel with individual touches (some may think a bit dated in places but that was part of the charm), extremely clean, great location, friendly staff and good care taken over the continental breakfast.

The location is a bit distant from the tourist area.The breakfast is very expensive at 15 euros per person, but a small buffet in the reception area. I think it is overrated. Looks more like a very nice 3 star rather than a 4 stars hotel. Hard bed. Noise of walking on bare floors above. Loud music playing out of one room at 2:30 in the morning. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. very noisy, lots of banging and door shutting heard constantly. poor value noisy I am astounded by its 4 star rating.
