  After reading reviews about the neighborhood I was actually a little scared to stay here. However, we had no problem. The area is just outside of Paris and 15 min walk to the metro and a 20 min ride in. I have stayed in Paris multiple times and have stayed in the city. This hotel was far better than any hotel I stayed in, in the city. It is clean ... what people say » and has good security. You can't beat the price either. In the city you pay 2 to 3 times as much for horrible accomodations. I would recommend this ho - Good value. Area is not too bad, but we caught a taxi from the tube station in the evening as we weren't too sure where to go. But at 6:30am the next morning we walked it bk to the tube. Area can be intimidating. As always you need to be aware of your surroundings

  The staff were very friendly and polite,my room was clean and tidy which is what matters to me,the soaps were in little packets and the shampoo's were in little unopened bottles,Breakfast was nice,self service and catered for most needs..Straight out the metro at Hoche and you'll see it. - I booked for 3 persons but we arrived with 2 persons and it... what people say » was no problem!   The guest house is well located in zone 2 of Paris metro (Paris is divided in 5 metro zones, Disneyland and CDG airport are in zone 5). Its 5-7 minutes walk from Merie des lilas (Merie de lila in English) metro (M-11) station connecting to centre of Paris. Travelling to main attractions through metro costs one way Euro 1.7 (1.3 if bought 10 ticket... what people say » s). Arriving from CDG air port costs Euro 7.5 per person through metro and Euro 40 through taxi (4-5 persons). Near by grocery store and few restauran - Sonia the Korean lady of this family hostel is a very very nice person, as well as her husband and her mother. The breakfast is good, she will also make a sandwich for everyone as lunch. She is currently looking for 2 person to do the laundry work and the cleaning work for her, since her mother is getting older.   Apart from the excellent service we received and the friendly staff, the hotel's location to the local Metro station was also another plus to making our stay in Paris that bit more magical. - I glad to spend time in this hotel.
