loved the place. Some of the people we stayed at on Mantaray Island also came here. We had a blast of a time!!! There was only me and, maybe 2 others in the pool at the same time. Great food. Get the Chicken Keiv. Best I've ever tasted. Ideal for first or last night in Fiji. Very close to the international airport in Nadi. Relatively inexpensive and good atmosphere in the outside area next to the beach. Very nice and friendly staff.

Rooms were comfortable and lots of space (not cramped like some hotel rooms). Cocktails great food good beach clean despite other reports /local other bars give variety and change overall a pleasant convenient and user friendly hotel and location. The location helpful friendly staff and tour desk operator they remembered you had time to make you feel relaxed and the entertainment was excellent. Always seems like a good bunch of people staying here. For Kava and music with the locals go across the road to Bamboo. The shore location. A good comfortable bed. Excellent restaurant all day. Sorry management but whats with the embaressing comment book after each meal which makes for an awkward moment for your staff and the customer/restaurant staff very good but really an open book for anyones perusal if you want feedback keep it confidential and not embaressing to staff or customers. The rubbish on the beach but this was nothing to do with smugglers it is from the locals who use the beach. Staff at Smugglers do their best to keep it clean. Nothing. Lack of return to the airport by courtesy bus. Mix up on booking through letsbookhotel.com. We did not get the room I paid for. I did talk to reception & was told that management would be informed, so hopefully I do hear back about it. Quite isolated, nothing else around, food in the restaurant was average, not the best value for money. Very late night partying very near our balcony. Bring earplugs!. The mattress should have been replaced. We had a room on the beach, it was really noise during the night. A bit noisy at night over the bar. The prices of certain items such as soft drinks and certain meals ie cans of coke were double of that of nearby establishments also the attitude and customer relation skills of the man running the gift shop, I am not a regular complainer but unfortunately had to submit a view of my experience of my visit to the shop to a member of staff. Advertised free airport pickup but had to pay from hotel to airport. Could use self catering bbq area's and longer operating hours for the bar area in the evening. Nothing. I hated the smell in the form room, and then we didn't get transfer to the airport, just because we booked through letsbookhotel.com. At times there were not enough sunbeds available. Payment by Debit card was not an option. The so-called breakfast included in the room rate was pathetically poor. A decent breakfast needed to be paid by cash, could not be charged to the room. Facilities within the room (the non-functional personal safe, plugged drain and slow flushing toilet) were not attended to even after we lodged requests. Filthy beach, and filthy ocean. Would never stay on this side of Fiji again. The atmosphere felt quite sterile, more like a hotel than a hostel. Nothing. We stayed Twice ! the first stay free upgrade and wonderful staff but the second time ... no friendly at all and no Fiji ambience !. We chose this hotel because they said they have scuba diving center. But that scuba diving center is not professional at all. Do Not recommend this one to divers !!! The room is not very clean, the food is just ok. but the price in fiji is kind of good deal. To many backpackers, not a good value for the money. Food was okay but very overpriced! My room wasn't cleaned until after 3 pm each day!! And then they did a poor job of it!. Very noisy at night, "garden view" room only looks at wall of neighboring building, poor entertainment at restaurant. Rooms with cockroaches, air con too noisy and not facing the correct way in line with the bed. Beach very poor and untidy. Remote location so nothing around without a taxi ride. Very noisy as mostly a Backpacker Hotel. Rooms very basic and not well cleaned. Mattress old and uncomfortable. TV in rooms only show 2 stations properly. Plumbing extremely noisy from other rooms. Glass doors broken Probably one of the worst resorts I have ever stayed at. Glad it was only one day.
