Good location, short walk to supermarket and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Pool area and bar area have a nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly. We walked into Nadi town centre from the hotel which took about 3/4 hour at a slow pace and caught the local bus back for 70 cents (Fijian) each. Cab fare to Denaru marina is a flat $20 Fijian. Marina is worth a visit with lots of restaurants and a nice atmosphere by the water.
all reviews » I liked being greeted by fresh flowers on the bed, and sitting outside the room having a morning cup of tea and enjoying the lovely courtyard. There was a grocery store within walking distance and also a bus stop into town nearby. Only stayed on night on my way back home, but had a relaxing day by the pool, enjoying a nice lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Jo the manager was awesome help us with trying to get a bag back from the airport which we never got back from fiji airways a staff cleaner on the plane has stolen it. Friendly, well managed, hotel, nice gardens, and conveniently located. Food was good quality, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby if you wanted a change. Very clean and friendly staff they went out of their way to ensure stay was a good one. Food in restaurant was excellent value for money too. Clean decent size room with a nice restaurant with pleasant staff great for an overnight business stop. some restaurants and a big supermarket near the hotel. It's near the beach. Just 5 fjd to the beach. close to airport, quick check inand check out as there for onenight to fly to savusavu. I was thankful for the free airport shuttles, I was able to leave my big baggage there whil I traveled around Fiji and was given a upgrade. After being to the main town of Nadi and Port Denarau, I think this is the best area to stay in Nadi. There are a few good restaurants nearby and the Bounty up the road has free wi-fi. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is good value. starting to show its age. about what NZ'ers would expect from a 3 star hotel only. comfortable and good pool complex [plus five minutes bus to Nadi town -70 cents. Not a great location- in the middle of nowhere really. Some of the food. a bit run down. Bed was very uncomfortable, the sheets very low quality, tiny old tv, dated decore, overall it felt run down and past it's experation date. Its pretty much what you would expect from a Mercure Hotel. Don't expect to much from Nadi - get to the islands!. The rooms are a little dated and could do with a refurbish. no wifi, no curtain for shower, fitness centre with very old equipment & some did not work at all. Staff not overly helpful, wifi is REALLY expensive, the rooms are very average, located on main road too far to Nadi or any restaurants (have no choice but to eat in hotel). Building work throughout out stay which we weren't told about. Cold showers and very slow service everywhere. No towels in our rom when we checked in. Room was a bit out dated, coctails at the bar were way over priced. Restaurant was pretty average as was the food. I was given a room and moment we entered the room , we found two lizards in the room and then we were given a different in which the air condition was not effective. I could draw pictures in the dirty mirrors; mould in shower bay; no vacuum cleaners for cleaning staff? One damp mop for the unit (unrinsed) Food handling hygiene very poor (pick up ice for drinks by hand!) Raw foods (eg egg mix for omelettes) left uncovered at the open air bbq whilst cook went off to do something else. Room was on third floor and we had 4 years old twins. Iit was reall hard to climb up 100 plus stairs. TV in room was facing wrong way. Room was not ready when we got there. We had to wait over an hour to check in our our one of the room. The room was run down. Needs a lot of maintenance and major spring clean. Also bed and pillows very uncomfortable. I think the position of the room is not good when booked with letsbookhotel.com. Slow internet service. Charged wifi hotel taxi service. It wasn't overly clean, the food at the hotel was expensive. The fitness centre was pathetic, the tv had very limited channels to choose from. The reception staff were very rude. filthy bed linen and pillows, bugs in beds. The linen was not changed after last guest. bathroom disgusting and the bath towels were even worse. room had cochroaches and other bugs, was dated, upon check out the lady was rude and said we needed to pay $50. we advised that we paid in full and she basically said that she will dock the pay of the staff member who served us rather then make any reconciliations and check. rude and no care about guest or staff. worst place to stay. low cleanliness, low comfort, rooms with old furniture/equipments and no safety box (notwithstanding rooms are quite isolated), low quality swimming-pool and general service.
