Right in the city. Surrounded by supermarkets. 2 minutes to Aros Museum. 15 minute walk to old town (but it costs 15 euro to see it), 5 minutes to Stroget (shopping strip). Plenty of paid parking spaces onsite (88 Dkk) and nicely secured. There's metered parking outside which is probably free after dark, but cars double park waiting for these spots so better to just pay. Wonderful lady at desk was so friendly and helpful. Internet in rooms was great. Also computer in lobby with free printer acc.
all reviews » We booked a standard double room and it was very large with tall windows for ventilation, a high ceiling. The bathroom was at first glance very clean until I got in the shower and found mold on the grout between the tile. The shower was small & had a shower curtain the clung to your body :( (not very pleasant). Excellent location & really loved the layout of the hotel room. I was so impressed with not only the room but all aspects of our stay.the staff were wonderful. I will be booking with the "Scandic Chain" from now on. Position: very close to train station and to main places to visit especially Aros Museum. Great breakfast, small but free access gym and sauna. Comfortable beds. Hotel is true to Scandic standards and breakfast was excellent. Perfect position to visit the city and private parking is offered to reasonable price. This is the second time I have stopped in this hotel and the standards are very high with professional and friendly staff working in this Hotel. Very nice location, middle of town close to all main public transport links. Nice, simple but good rooms. Excellent breakfast. When checking out, the lady at the reception kindly didn't charge us for parking (we stayed at the hotel for 1 night only). Clean, with a comfy bed, good wifi and an excellent location 1 minute from the railway station and right by a park. Delivered what you would expect from an efficient chain hotel. There are some Scandic standards we didn't like, such as room cleaning every three days for environmental reasons and no real double beds for couples, in fact we were forced to sleep in a queen size bed or we would have received two separated beds put side by side. Room curtains do not stop light at all. Nothing to dislike. Maybe reception area could be a little bigger, but that's it.. No issues. Rooms quiet small. nothing. Small bathroom facilities. In need of renovation in places. Quite expensive for the type of hotel it is.
