You can purchase metro tickets at reception desk and put them on your room bill. Tram stop at end of block. Subway is two blocks away (cash machine at Metro station). Shower had lots of pressure. - loved having a suite of rooms and a balcony with a view of the Vlatava river and Prague Castle. Other comments have said the breakfast wasn't good but we thought it was great, cereals, meats, cheese, bread, bacon, scrambled egg, drinks. Really useful to have fully equipped kitchen as eating out in Prague quite expensive especially if you are a family.

  This hotel is one of the best options you can find for this money. It is modern hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. There are many great bars on the street where the hotel is located. And to be honest, it is not so far to the city center from the hotel.   Clean rooms, friendly staff, and economical. There was one person who made our stay especially nice. Her name was Klara. She was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Klara spoke English very well and provided answers and directions to all our questions about Prague, transportation, and currency. She even offered to make us something to eat when... what people say » we arrived late. To enter Pension Kern, you have to ring the doorbell and the receptionist comes to the door and lets you in. There is limited gated - Excellent staff, excellent place and excellant accomodation. Reception is very friendly, she lent me several local currency when I arrived at the hotel. The place is quite easy to access public traffic towards city centre. Nearby there are several countries' embassador's residence. The facilities in the room is very comfortable. Nice breakfast.

I was bit concerned about the location before arriving to Prague but after my stay I would say, it is quite well located and public transport is really good to get to city centre, airport or main train station.   Location was in walking distance of everything. Decent breakfast was included. Cant complain about anything really. I would stay here again! - It is a nice hotel, near centre.

  I booked a single room and it was very comfortable (unlike some grotty single rooms in some hotels) with a TV, phone, 2 comfortable chairs and a comfy bed. There was a nice clean en-suite shower room with loo. I had read that there were toiletries in the bathroom, which was good, as we had travelled hand luggage only. But this was soon sorted by the kind and polite gentleman on reception who supplied us with a couple of small bottles of very - The localization of hotel are very good because is far from turistic downtown and near to subways and trams (public transportations). This is good because the city does not operate with Euros, only tchec crouwns, local money, and the there are better currency exchange houses and good restaurants. The view is amazing, its possible to see the castel, mainly at night.
