The hotel is well placed, 5 minutes by foot tol the center of the city. Staff people was very obliging, always present. The hotel is clean with nice rooms. We have a room at the third floor so to reach it you have to climb a winding staircase ... but it is comprehensible because the building was date up 1300.

The staff was friendly and very helpfull. We forgot a mobile in the common area and the receptionist found it and left it in our room :) Excellent location

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with a perfect location! You don't have to use public transport at all because everything can be reached in the city with a little walk. Although it's right near Wenceslas Square the hotel is in a very quiet little street with no disturbing noise at all! The staff is really helping and nice, you can have a cup of tea or coffee in the lobby for free all day which makes you feel at home. Everything is very clean and breakfast is delicious.Wifi is only available in the lobby but they give you a cable for laptop so that you can use it easily in the room too! We spent 3 nights there and we can very highly recommend it!

I could mention 1 small thing:no elevator as the house is from the 14th century which can be a little problem if you have very heavy suitcase to carry up through the stairs.

The beautiful builing. Huge comfortable rooms. Location is incredible for access of the best of the city. Very cheap for what it offers.

Breakfast staff were uncomfortable to be around as we felt we were hurried out of the resturant at closing time. Promised a double bed but had two single beds together with two covers. Not great for a young couple.

the staff were not very friendly - they did not even manage to smile - it was like they were just doing a job and forgot that its imporant to make guests feel welcome rather than just check us in

The room was incredibly spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I felt like I was in a luxury suite but only paid for a budget motel. Breakfast was also very good.

I had some issues with the desk clerk who didn't relate my message back to someone who called for me but other than that, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff were very welcoming and gave good assistance when asked. The location was great for walking into old town and good access to the public transport system if required. Breakfast was good with a warm option which was nice for the cool mornings.

Low doorways and steep stairs are offset by the fact it is 700 yrs old.

Old XIV century building has no possibility to install air condit. system (because of law I suppose). You have to open a window in summer and your night will be finished :-) Lots of noise is coming to your room. I do not recommend to use this hotel when it is hot in Prague. And also not comfortable bed.

Perfect location for getting around the city with adequate facilities. Buffet breakfast met our needs. Nice touch that there was a coffee machine and also 24h access to internet

The place is excellent. The staff is very friendly and that's something you learn to appreciate while in Prague. It's very close to the center of the town and near all means of public transport. The room was very clean and the hotel also serves a decent breakfast.

No parking (10 minutes away), no elevator (old building explains it but still an issue if you have large luggage).

Perfect location in the heart of the city. Easily reachble by tram connections and walkable from main stations. Good breakfast.

My room was on top-floor (4th) and was difficult to climb with narrow old-style stairs.

I liked big rooms and breakfast.

There was no AC so we had to open windows and then we could here everything around us. Like stuff talking very loudly or other guests arguing.

Location was great, only few minutes walk from underground and tourist attractions, rooms are spacious and clean, staff friendly and helpful.

It could be noisy at night outside in the street, but that's what Prague is.

1.No russian language tv programs 2. no describe about hotel`s house (castle). Very interesting to read about history of such old house.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the building and rooms. Rooms very spacious and clean. Location is superb and the restaurant of the hotel provides good food and service.

The hotel is an old building located between the old town and train station.The staff at the reception was quite friendly.The ham of breakfast was good.

- dont take this hotel if you are looking for quiet place, in front of the hotel is a hospital, few restaurants and very near trams so in the night its getting pretty noisy - a 5m cable for internet connection what you get on the reception is little bit oldschool but its working - girls on reception were nice, but the rest of the staff was not very kind

Central location, everything in the Old Town is reachable by foot in fifteen minutes

The room was very tiny. There was no air-condition. Only the most necessary things. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but arriving for breakfast ten minutes before ten, we were given a roasting by a grim lady that breakfast was about to finish – quite unprofessional. Breakfast itself is... Ok. Consider it more a boardinghouse than a hotel.

Very good position and lovely staff. Very nice room especially the double deluxe room which is comfortable very big and very clean.

If you want a double bed ....... Don' t have it. You will have two single bed
