My room was clean and quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower was great. The restaurant is convenient and well-staffed, and the menu is good. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the manager is very nice to talk with (he even brought me orange juice!). The hotel is located near many of the sites in Prague that travelers would want to see, and also close to transit.
all reviews » I stayed in hotels all around the world. The Icon Boutique hotel is for me an hotel which I could actually live in. I'm very fussy and we were travelling in a group of 8. All of us could just praise the hotel. We are not the easiest of people to deal with as we can all be demamding, but there was nothing too difficult for the staff there. Theresa especially was fantastic with us.The location is in the heart of Praha. All the staff is professional, kind and helpul. We thank Karolina, Renata and the staff in the breakfast room for their advices, kindness and smiles. Breakfast is excellet. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. We really suggest this hotel. We loved the Hästens beds. The á la carte breakfast was very nice. The hotel manager, and also the other staff, was espesially helpful and gave us good recommendations on restaurants etc. The bar made very good drinks. And the location was very central. Nice interior.The decor was modern and unique. The food and the bar service were very good. The people in reception were always very helpful. The location was excellent- easy to walk to places of interest and the public transport was nearby as well. The entire staff was very knowledgable, helpful and extremely accomodating during my entire stay. The front office staff were very helpful, but at times it seemed that they did not have the experience to be able to answer questions or requests for assistance comprehensively. I quess that will come with time.The bar is a little early to close and the music was not so good. One booking trouble of massage service. We were located on Floor 1 and they had a party on the ground floor with loud house music - didnt matter as we were awake - but should not locate people on Floor 1 with loud music downstairs. The room was so hot! Just as the website advertised, each room does have an individual thermostat; however, the air barely works. It was uncomfortably hot, which kept us from sleeping well. It was cooler outside, but we couldn't sleep with the windows open because of the noise. I would stay at this hotel again, but not in the middle of summer.
