Liked all the usual bits - nice apartment, comfortable, quiet and modern. The real standout was Vaclav, the Manager. He is a real gem. We had the misfortune to pick up a puncture in the wheel of our hire car. Vaclav noticed it , and without us asking, volunteered to help. So that our stay. In Prague was not affected, he did the whole thing for us; took off the wheel, took it to the repair shop, brought it back and refitted it so the car was ready for us to leave. He refused to add his time/ ef.
all reviews » We were pleased to have so much assistance from the staff. Not only were they friendly and open but also helpful with some practical issues. E.G. The owner Vaclav after we had checked out drove us to the city to his friends hotel, where we could leave our bags and use their kitchen. He showed us around the area. We had almost 5 hours before the flight, therefor we needed to know some places near by the metro, like a good restaurant, a playground for our kid and an Internet cafe where we can pri. The owner is very nice person, he waited for us in the apartment upon arrival and gave us a free ride to the bus station on our departure day as we stayed for four nights. He also gave us very good information about the city. The apartment is small but clean and quiet, it is in a quiet area but very easy to reach by tram from anywhere in the center. The hot water in the shower is also very comfortable. It is nothing like a luxury hotel, but very cozy like a friend's apartment. Value for money i. Secure appartment and parking facilities. Good supply of hot water and heated towel rail a bonus.Vaclav was friendly and helpful at all times. Trams into the old town were very convenient and frequent, once you mastered how the system worked. A good tram/metro map is essential (free from info centres). Day tickets are available at the local Lidl supermarket, next door to which is an excellent and reasonably priced brasserie from the Husa chain (local Czech and international cuisine). Absolutely good value for money! The apartment is really cosy and clean. Although not located in old town, the tram station is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment which is really convenient because there are various tram lines which take you to almost every attraction in Prague. The owner of the apartment, Vaclav offered airport pick up and sent us to Florence bus station on the day of check out for free! Will absolutely stay there again on my next visit. The host was amazing! His welcome was warm and friendly. He then took about 15 minutes to personally walk us through a map of Prague and the best places to eat, things to see and do, public transport, supermarket as well as marking out a walking route with park stops for our son to play on along the way. Wonderful family service (he was even happy even after we accidentally melted his chopping board :-) ). The bed was so comfortable and we got great suggestions for things to do and places to eat from the owner marked out on a map we referred to constantly. It was a great price and we got free transfer from the airport. Definitely a place to go to if you don't mind not being directly in the center of the city. It's also close to a Lidel and a bank plus just a block away from a tram stop. Amazing hospitality by the owner and his 2 staffs. we missed our airport transfer arranged by the apartment and had to take a cab to the apartment which was later refunded by the owner. Also our trasfer to the train station on departure at early morning was arranged. A great gesture. Apartment was cozy in a quiet area and friendly neighbors.And very safe place to stay in Prague. We liked everything. We expected a hotel, and when we got there, our room was in fact a charming and lovely apartment. It had kitchen, fridge, pans, a big bed and good taste for furniture. The staff helped us a lot recommending destinations, restaurants. Easy access to the center. Walking distance to Vysehad Castle, which is a wonderful place to visit. Wonderful apartment in a quite location, 20mins walk from the old town and easy access to the public transport network, Vaclav gave great information on getting around and places to see while marking up a map for us :0). Loved it. Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff, tram line near by so it's extremely easy to reach Prague 1. Shops, a couple of small restaurants near by too. Had everything an apartment would have! :). The owner tell us how to take the train to the city center and recommend us several amazing restaurant. The apartment is lovely and clean. We have a great time here!!. Spacious. Safe parking avail but transit is so easy we returned car. Very kind manager - even offered to take us to the airport!. Very friendly and useful staff, really in love with their city. The staff were really nice and the room was well equipped. Maybe some towel hooks would be nice in the bathroom and toilet, because it is a bit crowded for two towels on the heated rack, and it would also be nice to have a hand towel in the toilet to dry hands after washing. Bedroom/living area a bit on the compact side . A comfortable bed but accessible only from one side. I wish there was a fixture for the shower head. It was awkward to have to hold it up constantly and trying to aim it when you placed it in the gap between the pipes and the wall so you could use both of your hands. Internet was slow. nothing. the beds in the living room were too small, the apt was on the ground and there was a lot of noise from the front door , tourists, workers....the bathroom needs a window or some refreshner. nowhere to buy something near this apartment. Remember, if booking the studio its a 4 story walkup, but the stairs are easy to negotiate. Although, it takes one tram to get to the city center, it is quite far from it. It looked like a big flat is divided into small studio flats. So, I am suspicious about the sound isolation between the rooms. We were lucky as being the only room owners at our time. Nothing.
