The hotel is on a great spot, just 2 tramway stops from the main railway station (we travelled by train to/from Prague) and 4 stops from the city centre and you if change lines one time, you can get to the castle. More importantly: you can take the tram back to hotel when your feet are killing you at the end of the day. The breakfast was pretty good, everything was promptly refilled when it got empty. The staff was very helpful, we got everything we wanted. I believe we got really good price an.
all reviews » The hotel is at a good location for getting around via tram, only a stone's throw away from a frequently trafficked tram-stop. My room was quite nice, had tea and coffe-making apparatus and minibar. Workable, fast WIFI. Comfy bed, nice bathroom with lots of table-space. Reasonably priced minibar, good-enough breakfast. Good location, nice interns, particularly breakfast organised in adapted old theatre. Very good price/quality ratio. There was nothing really wrong with it. I could imagine that in a hot night where the windows would be open there would be noise (street, church bells) in the street facing rooms, but in our case the windows were shut and we very good sleeps. No airconditon. No separate "lounging" chair in the room, it was the office-chair or the bed if you wanted to sit and read a book. Not that either of those were bad, but it's the principle of the thing. Problem with parking close to the hotel, but there were some facilities within 10 min. walk. In a funky part of the city No restaurant at hotel Next door room construction during stay. A tad bit outside the city center, but easily accessible by tram. The hotel does not have air conditioning in the rooms.When booking the hotel i was quoted £122 for 4 nights but the hotel must have given me a poor exchange rate which worked out at £128 . The location was a little further away from the centre of Prague than we would have hoped. It took us about half an hour to walk from praha hl.n train station and the tourist areas were another five minutes walk away on top of that. However this wasn't too much of a problem and we felt safe walking back at night. The breakfast choice is poor, both exterior/interior are warn down. Overall, this is not a 4* hotel. Staff is not very motivated which may be culturally determined. Also provides poor information or only information which serves the hotel. Crews were not that so kind and friendly.
