Excellent breakfast included. The dining room provided an overwhelming choice of sumptuous meals and there was always someone to help us when wwe were not familiar with the language or the meal choices.

It was a beautiful hotel with a magnificent water feature at the entrance and an impressive lobby with a grand piano. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous bath. Very enjoyable. We stayed an extra night.

The English level of the team at Reception was a little strained but they still did an excellent job. The location and cleanliness was exceptional. Great value foe money. We would most certainly stay here again

The room was great - all the facilities and spotless clean. Very big batroom. Excelent restaurant offering. They even brought the food to our room. The food was buffet and was raw and they prepared it for you. However, it was only written in chinesse...so you have to know a little what everything is. large breakfast buffet.

Tha hotel restaurant closed at 9pm. However, room servise was available after that. Only 4 english speaking channel - but compared to other hotels in China - it is very good

It is a bit noisy in the hotel (other guests and traffic noices) soearplugs were needed to get a good nights sleep. It would be greatif they could add some cheese to the breakfast buffet for theEuropean guests.

Location close to the Yuyuan Bazaar was excellent. Very comfortable room, spacious, nice bathroom (would like to have had a bathtub, but that was only available in more expensive rooms). Nice lobby, halls and elevators. Pleasant staff.

Reception staff did not speak very good English, so getting information on anything beyond the hotel was quite difficult (help with buses, for example). The breakfast was focused more on Asian items. Breads, pastries were very inferior to other hotels such as Holiday Inn and Days Inn chains in China. Coffee was very poor. An espresso machine and cream for the coffee would help. Gaudy decor.

Beautiful decor and comfortable ambient. Value for money with added free services/facility such as breakfast and internet.

I booked four rooms in all, but none were non-smoking as I have requested. The first male personnel was not attentive, and gave me a room with 2 single beds and 1 access card and 1set of breakfast voucher even though I booked a double room for 2 pax. He informed me that he was unable to give me a second card as the machine was faulty. Door gap was too large and allowed cigarette smoke to enter.

good value for the dollar; nice rain-showers in rooms; friendly staff; location not too far from subway station; comfortable room and bed; flexible managemet (got much better room after a complaint)

immediate location just next to an extremely busy intersection with at least two large construction sites (day and night shifts) - can be very noisy if room is facing the main road; windows are not noise and temperature resistant (investment should be made)

Location is excellent, close to the cool old town. Hotel is beautifuloverall. Breakfast very good, coffee could be better and hotter

Quite a spacious hotel room with nice decor and lovely marble bathroom. Very convenient to most tourist attractions, and the taxi fares not expensive.The hotel has a nice ambience and was well maintained.

Even though we had indicated our flight from Australia could be late and to hold the booking until 10 p.m.our room had been sold by 9 p.m. and we had to settle for a smaller single deluxe room for the first night of our four night stay instead of the double deluxe and it took some convincing to have the staff reduce the room rate accordingly. The language barrier can be a bit difficult.

It was very roomy and clean, the location was very good, close to a Chinese bazaar and 5 min away from metro station. The Staffs are very nice and helpful

For the price it felt like Luxury and could have easily have been moreexpensive. Very clean and the breakfeast was the best and is alsoincluded with rooms.. And internet available!! Cheap!

The two things I would suggest would be that the rooms which do nothave windows have their air condition fixed as the rooms are way to hotunless you get a room with has a window to outside and then you can leta breeze in. Secondly if you are a non smoker this hotel is not for youas it smells like smoke everywhere in the hotel even in the 'non-smoking rooms'?
