The "club" category rooms have impressive view over the Bund and the City, especially the spot scene of Pudong by night. All the complimentary services are also quite good (permanent access to soft drinks, some small food, etc.). Swimming pool in floor 21 is a big plus, for both view and relax after the hot summer weather. Finally the location of the hotel is very good. Definitely recommended.
all reviews » It is the best possible location for a short stay in Shanghai. Visiting for bussines but wanting to visit the attractions of the city, location is best near the Chinese old part , Yu garden, Bund. The Club ideea is wonderful, the view from club lounge is amazing. And the pool view is wonderful. swimming pool had a great view over Shanghai´s roofs! location was great as well - very close to the Yuyan Garden (a 2-minutes-walk), Bund is also not that far away (a 10 minutes-walk), the subway is also very close - direct line to the airport and train station!. Friendly staff especially club lounge supervisor, Miss Nancy Ran whose smile and helpfulness made our stay most pleasant n enjoyable. Great view from our club room. The location (next to Yu garden). But I will never come back to this Hotel. I prefer getting a better Hotel In another area and pay 5$ of taxi to get there. Overall very good. They provide very good service becsuse I reach hotel about 10.30am and they manage to arrange me check in early. Staff are polite. the situation of the hotel was good. it was close to the bund, opposite the old town of shanghai, next to Yu Garden and not far from French Quarter. From the hotel, you can visit several interesting places in a walking distant. The location is also good for shopping and dining. Good friendly and helpful staff. The attitude of the front door guys who are too familiar sometimes. Swimming Pool was closed the first day (restauration) but opened the next day as promised. Club lounge was quite crowded in the evening after dinner. No ambiance, have to pay for room internet (really?! At the price we are paying for the room, it should be included). The lobby wifi didnt work. Little bottles of water In the room. Soap and shampooing was poor. Laundry service expansive (10$+15% for one pair of pants). The kitchen staff in the main breakfast restaurant were unfriendly and rude. the waiting staff were good though. Cleaning up room can obviously be improved. wifi in our room did not work well. However in the lobby (level L) it worked well. the drinks in Lobby bar. The hotel missed my booking when I check-in. needed to spend like 15 minutes to varified. communication between the hotel and letsbookhotel.com needs improvement. Soundproofing of rooms Lack of organization at breakfast.
