    The King Parkview Hotel is in the hutong district of Beijing which gives you a fascinating insight to old Beijing. While many Chinese tourists were doing tours of the of the area, we saw it first hand. The hotel is an older style building but quite comfortable. The supplied breakfast had enough of both western and Chinese options to satisfy anyon... what people say » e. it is within walking distance of The Forbidden City (Palace Museum), Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing Street and the night food market, and if you are - The location was very convenient as it was close to forbidden city, tiananmen, jingshan park, and wangfujing! There is also a nice convenience store downstairs and great alley cafe down the road. Family room was spacious and had a pc. Its also inside a nice, quiet and quaint compound.staff were helpful in getting us a taxi and attending to our needs.

    Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel. This place was an adven... what people say » ture and allowed me to really experience the culture. It is not my typical kind of hotel, but I am very happy I had this experience.

    Excellent location, to get to the hotel you need to take exit B at Beihei North station and go ahead for 2 minutes and you are at the hotel! Although there is many restaurants around the lake, the hotel is quiet place and you can rest in the room. - Location, spacious well-furnished room with everything one might need, very nice winter garden, ... what people say » fish-tanks and pool, food shop with reasonable prices.

    The location was excellent. In the middle of the Hutong. We stayed in a traditional room which was very spacious. We also rented bicycles at the hotel, which made it very easy to visit the sights in Beijing. From the airport we took the AIrport Express to Sanyuanqiao and then took a bicycle taxi, because we had read on letsbookhotel.com that car... what people say » s could not enter the street of the hotel. The bicycle was a good idea. We were dropped almost in the hall of the hotel. Also we booked a Great Wall - Very nice hotel with traditional Chinese decor! The best place and part of the city to stay to get a feeling of Chinese culture. Everyone speaks English (thank god)! In a very nice touristy area in the oldest hutong of beijing "Ju er" (next to the busiest and must see Hutong Nanluoguxiang) need to take bus to nearest metro station.     The owner of Apricot Courtyard Inn Alex is very nice and friendly. We had some troubles finding the place and phoned up the number, he was very patient and even came out to pick us up! The place is very clean and very artistic! We love the open space in the courtyard and we can smoke there. The service is excellent! Also the location is perfect, so... what people say » convenient and close to the town centre. It's a walkable distance after shopping and dinner in town. I had a great time there with my friends! I high - The Apricot Courtyard Inn was the most welcoming and nicest place we've been to in Beijing. During our one week stay Alex, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel like home. The place was extraordinarily clean and very cosy. Alex speaks fluently English and gave us many tips to find our way around the traditional hutongs. With his help we were able to discover interesting spots and great local bars and restaurants off the beaten track. We will absolutely come back!
