  Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room.   We had booked a 2-bedroom family suite, which was apparently not available when we arrived--so for the same price were upgraded to a junior suite (living room, br, 1-1/2 baths) and adjacent deluxe room...very elegant and even more luxurious than we'd expected. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)

When feedback was provided during check out, the duty manage took step to make sure the glitch did not affect my stay and took initiative to arrange airport transfer for me.   The courtyard style hotel was lovely with lots of traditional features. We stayed in November so it was too cold sit in the courtyard but instead w had drinks in front of a log fire. It's in a great location down a hutong alleyway. Staff were very helpful and provided an English guide on sights, restaurants and bars. We had dinner in 2 of the rest... what people say » aurants they suggested and both were very good. Additionally the food at the hotel was great with a good range. There were a mixture of clients when w - The staff in the reception speaks english very well, the attitude is so friendly and explain the city very well including a city map with clearly indications. They give us a present for our anniversary, a cake and a letter. The room was perfect with very nice details and well decorated. The situation is very near the city centre and the external áreas of the hotel are very comfortable, nice and well design.

Perfectly equipped. Very nice pool and hot tub which were great to wind down in after a hectic day in Beijing. I will search out - Home away from home for those with families (we had two children 12 and 9 years) clean room and brand new bathrooms, excellent service, next to metro, swimming pool for the August a blessing after a day out in Beijing, breakfast for two with reasonable variety and will cook eggs to your style, and real value for money if your going as a family. Our apartment had beautiful view of the iconic CCTV building.
