  Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. Location is within walking distance to Dong Si train station, which is just stops away from key attractions such as Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, WangFuJing street etc. I would highly recommend a visit to NanLuoGuXiang - a beau... what people say » tiful place with lots to see, eat and buy. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

  Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie.   We had booked a 2-bedroom family suite, which was apparently not available when we arrived--so for the same price were upgraded to a junior suite (living room, br, 1-1/2 baths) and adjacent deluxe room...very elegant and even more luxurious than we'd expected. Definitely on the pricey side, but a wonderful way to end our China trip! - Family room was fantastic, (5 adults) large and comfy beds with a large lounge area. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)
