The hotel exceeded our expectations on almost all counts. The service, the staff, the location , the hotel ambiance , the food, etc. all exceeded the high standards that we were looking for. We are on a month long holiday and this stay was our high point of the entire trip spanning cities such as New York , Las Vegas , San Francisco, Calgary , Banff, etc. Would look forward to be back here.

The concierge knew us by sight and greeted us each time by our names - fantastic touch! Room was fantastic for a young family and location is brilliant. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. 10 Stars!!!. Agree the extra detail given to accommodating young children and making it easier to holiday with them was amazing, we've never stayed at a hotel that made us feel so welcome with a baby. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and I loved the understated glamour of this old building in the centre of downtown . The hotel is beautifully renovated to reflect its historic charm but with all the best state of the art modern necessities. It is superbly located and boasts an award winning restaurant and great little cafe. The staff are without doubt the best that I have encountered. Everything, the luxurious bath facilities, the TV, the TV programming. the bedding and the lobby. The staff would rival or exceed a Ritz Carlton. Helpful, polite, made me think that they cared. A first rate hotel. Loved the shower and tub!!!!. Probably the most enjoyable stay I have had in any 5-star hotel in the world. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the design and layout of the Junior Suite was first class. Rooms, bathrooms, fitness center, pool and lounge were all beautiful. Everything was perfect but the best compliment is for James who very graceful took the time to show us around. We were completely satisfied with the standard of accommodation and service which we received. This is an outstanding hotel and the staff operate to a very high standard. Everything! One of the best and most intimate hotels we have ever been worldwide. Especially the special provided Bentley Driving service with Jim was cool!. Very friendly staff. Niceley renovated building. It has spoilt us by providing exceptionally good services that other good hotels fade in comparison . Everything was excellent. Nothing. I was not overly impressed with the restaurant. I had some problems with the electronic entry key lock. Minor issues. There was nothing that we didn't like. Nothing but just great!. Old building. Parking around the corner. I was double tipping the room service as I didn't realize that there was gratuity already charged. This I found slightly annoying. 1. Driving directions to the entrance of the hotel the first time. We literally drove around in circles 3 X trying to locate the entrance! 2. We couldn't find a jacuzzi near the pool. I found complicated to make coffee in the room,there was no tea or camomile.I had to ask for that. 1927 bar service poor. Location and height of hotel means limited views available from room: didn't matter on the beautiful summer days during our stay. At our arrival we did not receive the rooms I booked. So we had ti change room on the second day. On the 3rd day we had to change room again because water was coming from the ceiling due to the air condition. No Steamroom or sauna facility. Nothing. The living area is small. Electrical problems caused the room lights to turn on/off during the whole night in 20 minutes interval. little black flies swamp at the front door entrance. The wifi system was archaic and they did not have duvet covers,just layers of sheets. They steal my money as they kept to charge my credit card with out my permission even they take there amount of money and more.
