    We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.     Mike, the innkeeper was very helpful with connecting us to the local eats, etc. The design of the living space was well constructed and the kitchen and bathrooms had nice updates. We like a home-like atmosphere for our stay, so it worked for us. It was a great bonus space and we would have planned our stay differently knowing we had that space! So, if the weather is not c - It was in the perfect location very close to Dallas Road as we were in town for the Marathon and it was also close to the start/finish, and my elderly parents had come along. We found it very comfortable, although my husband and Mom ended up being sick and it was a bit awkward sharing the one bathroom which connected both bedrooms.     The Black Rock was the delightful and invaluable base for the best family vacation we have ever had. The young girl at the front desk was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered checking into a hotel.     We loved the locations, the panoramic view from our kitchen and living room, main floor walk out, everything we needed was supplied. When we checked in they were kind enough to offer us an upgrade from a studio to a full condo with a separate bedroom. Thank you.
