  The welcome was friendly and relaxed (though anyone with an allergy to cats should be aware of Rita, the Inn cat who sleeps on the reception counter) and staff were helpful - eg. about storing luggage on the day of leaving. We particularly appreciated the Memory Foam-topped mattress, since we often find in accommodation elsewhere that beds are un... what people say » comfortably firm. Food (paid separately) was very good - particularly breakfast pancakes, enjoyed on the lovely deck, decorated with lots of flower-b - We loved the stay. The manager is so friendly and nice and the restaurant was inexpensive and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly. It felt like a home away from home. The room was clean and it was right there in the village of Ganges which is full of fun stores full of Art. Salt Spring Island has so many wonderful artists. We also loved Rita the cat who welcomed us at the reception desk. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

  The grounds were well kept. The waterfall and plantation were beautiful to look at and very peaceful. The room we stayed in was the Marine Room. It was fun to stay in a theme room. The Host was very gracious and knowledgeable. - Great location with beautiful view. The lovely room and garden with waterfalls are very impressive. It's way more than ... what people say » what we've expected.
