I loved the older hotel - it had so much character! Staff were exceptional and Ian was so warm and welcoming. Breakfast in the "Parlour" was wonderful along with the huge Christmas Tree. What a scent!!!

Good price for a simple modern ensuite. Very clean too.
I was only visiting Toronto for 2 nights on a budget and only used the room for sleeping in as I spent most of my time out so it suited me well.
Good location, within 1 or 2 miles from the CN tower etc.
I didn't use the kitchen on laundry so can't comment on those.

Great location. Lots to see and lots of outdoors activities within the vicinity....bike trails, hiking in the escarpments, 120 waterfalls, historical sites, waterfront areas, hugh botantical gardens. Host is great guy.....friendly, caring, accessible and helpful. The rooms in the house are rented out to university students during the school year.

The manager was very accommodating. The house is rented to college students during school, but several rooms are available for travelers during the summer. This is like being a guest in someone's home. A dorm-like atmosphere with shared bath, kitchen, laundry room, TV room. Just what I needed as I was bicycling and camping across Ontario.
