  Clean accommodation providing a nice sized room with a kitchen and private bath. The grounds are beautiful with lovely landscaping, walking trails and walks throughout the grounds. The location is quiet and removed from the hubbub of the city. Economical. Supports the University.   Hi Vancouver was in a perfect location for shopping and bars and there was plenty of nights organised by the hostel for example comedy nights, a night at the hockey. I was booked into a 2 bed female dorm which I ended up having to myself for 3 nights. The breakfast was great and there was plenty of it. The staff were all extremely friendly and hel... what people say » pful whenever I had a question. Overall it was a fantastic stay. - It was just what I needed for a quick solo trip to Vancouver. Simple, clean room, comfy bed, tv and a basic bathroom. Good value for money considering what I would have had to pay at a hotel. Also the central location made it easy for me to get around and walk to most of what I wanted to see.

  The place was clean, tidy and very well organised. The staff were extremely accommodating and could not have done enough to help you ie the manager drove us to a pickup point for us to join our ski trip at 0700hrs in the morning as we had a lot of luggage. This was all part of the service according to him and he did it with a smile. Would have lov... what people say » ed to stay longer as the Hostel had a real nice feel about it. - The owners Gerald and Abbie live in the hostel and take extra care to keep a high standard of comfort, care and extra service. I prefer them over anything more ritzy but where the owner is never on site so you are neglected or just a number.
