Big horn was amazing! Soooo afordable! We stayed in the king suite and when I walked in I could believe it, it was spacious the design was gorgeous I felt like royalty! Haha. Very, very clean. Big jacuzzi with jets etc. in the morning I opened up the door and walked onto the deck to the sunrise over the mountains. Amazing!!! Staff was friendly as well. The unit we had was exceptionally clean. Kitchen utensils and appliances were very clean. The bed linens were great and the bed had a well supported mattress, creating a very good nights sleep. The Bighorns outside our back patio every morning were an added feature that made it that much more enjoyable.
all reviews » Beautiful location, nice big rooms with comfortable beds. A great kitchen with a lot of dishes and things needed for cooking. Great views, a nice big deck with BBQ. In walking distance to stores and restaurants. Very quiet location. We loved being there and will come back. By some quirk they had a reservation number but not our name. So they gave us an upgrade at the same price to a huge luxury cond with living room kitchen etc.So we benefitted by your or their error. keep it up!. Our upgraded room (which we paid for.) Very clean. We do not golf but it seems to be a paradise for golfers. Close to the beautiful entrance to the National Park on our way to Banff. Very clean and modern rooms. Very comfortable. My girlfriend usually feels very uncomfortable in hotels but she felt like she was living at home at the Bighorn Meadows resort. Beautiful View on the west side ,Secure , Spacious Rooms ,Wildlife and the Streams and waterfalls by the Condos,Patio was nice .Fireplace ,Whirlpool . The entire facility was very pleasing and comfortable. They were able to accommodate our needs as we had a 92 year mother in our party. Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. I loved the granite counter tops and the view from our room was stunning. The grounds were beautiful, well kept. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious, inviting. BBQ was great for a nice home cooked meal. It is a beautiful resort with friendly staff. The fact that the resort hosted a BBQ and invited all the patrons to attend. I liked everything the 1 bedroom condo was outstanding. It would have been nice if the ice maker worked in the fridge. there were a lot of accessories in the kitchen, which is needed when you travel and want to cook and enjoy!. Really enjoyed our room which looked onto the pond. The peaceful countryside and views of the mountains. The room was really nice and modern. The bed was really comfortable. Underground parking was great. The accomdations were great and we were able to feel right at home. Value for money was very good. It was a great place! Very clean and amazing value for your money. Black out curtains for the bedroom would have been good as the hall lights were very bright and seeped into the bedroom. Once you check in you are on your own. There is no housekeeping. You have to wash your towels. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The pool is a bit small for the big complex. The room we booked was small and dark - (the only one offered on letsbookhotel.com when we made our reservation...) we had to upgrade to a better room which cost us $100. more. But it was very nice. Check out at 10:00 AM - much too early!! They should also have a better restaurant for dining. pool was closed. Sure did not like the fact that bedroom did not have blackout curtains , makes for a very long Day with no sleep due to the bright sunlight at 5 .a.m.Room was extremely dry and somewhat dusty .Need humidifiers during winter months . Nothing. Having to check out at 10 am. The outdoor pool was plain. Housekeeping was an extra charge if you wanted more than just before you arrive, and after you leave. In a single room for two people if you would like to watch any television you have to do it from your bed. There isn't an arm chair or sofa to sit on, making it very uncomfortable and inconvenient. The TV's in the unit were not sutiable the one in the livingroom was in a cabinet in the corner so it was difficult to see and the one in the bedroom was to small. The smoking on the other patios bothered me. It was hard to find the resort. We didn't see any signage besides the sign at the 4 way stop. Office hours should be longer as you can't get in until 4:00 P.M. and your office closes ar 5:00 so you have to wait for staff to show up. Either don't offer Hot Spring tickets at a discount at all or provide them free of charge. Staff member on check in was not very friendly and when asked a question about the deposit (which I was told by letsbookhotel.com) is paid on reservation of the room she was very condescending with her answer. We booked the suite because it said it had air conditioning and a single room did not. We picked the air conditioned suite expecting it to have air con in the bedroom but it didn't- it was in the kitchen area some 20 m away from the bedroom. Thankfully the night wasn't too hot. One of the female staff at registration (was friendly) but had some difficulty explaining the payment process and why the fee was more than the letsbookhotel.com quoted fee. Secondly, she had no response as to why the air condtioning unit in our room was extremely loud. The unit would actually wake us up. The outdoor hot tub is really small and we never tried it !!. Check out at 10 is very earlt especially for the 8 person room we had. I think an 11 o'clock checkout would have been more reasonable. Plus the checkout line was so large for the one person working there that it was 10:45 by the time we were able to checkout. Check out time was a little early for us possibly 11 am would be a better time. Nothing. nothing. Fireplace was electric; ugh!. No tennis courts Bed is not perfect and large enough. the rain!!. No onsite restaurant or spa. The staff seemed unhappy. two things: 1. a better park (like swings) or more parks or outdoor activities for children... 2. Movies available on your tv (i.e. pay per view type thing, rather than actual DVDs). Door lock. We would have liked to have had a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in and relax. The TV was alittle small but very clean. Noisy a/c, bed so-so, no chairs to read (only bar stools ?? who is the designer?? Let him/her spend a weekend here!!). Reminded me of a motel room. Suite not laid out well. They either forgot to clean the rooms or if this is the standard clean - needs a lot of improvement. Ended up cleaning the entire suite from washing all bedding, rewashing all kitchen utensils/scrubbing down microwave to washing floor/scrubbing down the bathroom as the hair left on the vanity/bathtub and floor was not ours - in fact our feet were black on the bottom from walking on the floors (we were wearing white socks....). It was a complete and total mess and we kept pictures as proof. *Construction noise "first thing in the morning"... *Lack of amenities on the premises. *Perhaps, if we were golfers, we'd have enjoyed it more - we didn't know this Resort to be golf inclined. *The view from the window, overlooking a dumpster bin, which happened to be blocking what was supposed to be parking for our vehicle. *Bright sun glare through the bathroom window reflecting onto the bathroom mirror while shaving. Air Conditioning was not working so it was quite warm in the room. As it was not a 'hotel', there were no daily services provided. As the room was booked through letsbookhotel.com, we were not eligible for the 'stay and play' opportunities if we would have booked thru the resort directly. Parking spaces were at a premium!. No housekeeping. Room was not air conditioned and on the third floor. We had two fans but still uncomfortable. We would not stay there again. The room when we got there was in the basement and there was no air conditioning. The staff promised to delivered requests and never followed through. There was no coffee/cream or sugar in room. No DVD player.
