  We loved this motel and wished we had been able to stay longer. I'd pre-booked so check-in was quick and easy. The room was huge, air-con was quiet, large flat screen TV if you wanted to watch it, also coffee machine. Bathroom well equipped. Motel foyer had constant supply of tea/coffee, plenty of seating in lounge area, small swimming pool adja... what people say » cent. Best of all there was a covered veranda with seats where you could sit and watch the river traffic going by - Dartmouth was just across the riv - I liked the fact that we placed in the back (newer) area with a view of the Bedford basin. It had more room than the first floor central hallway access and very comfortable beds. We had been in B&B's for two weeks and I will state that these were the best beds we had in the whole trip. Excellent breakfast as well.

  We traveled as a family and had our own rooms. The apartment was very spacious and clean. However, it is a dorm, so the furnishings were sparse and there was nothing in the kitchen.   Until last month, the last time I stayed at the Wedgewood Motel was in Dec 1964/Jan1965 - yes, 49 years ago. It was "basic" then and it's still basic today. The room was clean, it was comfortable, it was convenient, it was quiet. - Very roomy and the kitchenette was great. Love the seats in front of the TV. Had company for a take-out pizza supper... what people say » , the extra chairs and table were nice to have. We will be staying there from now on. Location was perfect.

  It was a beautiful B&B, a real haven of peace and tranquility from a hectic family visit. The hosts were very welcoming and friendy. Breakfast was just perfect. A great B & B and would certainly stay again. - Very quiet surrounding and friendly host.
