  when we arrived we were given key cards for our room but when we went to room it hadn't been cleaned yet. 2 rooms down there was a young gal from housekeeping that was cleaning that room and she advised us that our room had not been cleaned yet. she took our key cards and went down to the front desk for us and came back with keys for another roo... what people say » m which actually was an upgrade from the one we had. She was very friendly and helped us out by doing this which was above and beyond her duties. we - Location was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean. Quiet. Hot breakfast was ideal. Shuttle supplied by the hotel worked out great and on schedule. Friendly driver. Overall very good experience.

  Had a wonderful experience. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Jacuzzi tub was amazing and the firplace for a cold winter night. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was large and very comfortable and a nice surprise. Loved the bed, pillow and duvet. We come to Orillia often since our son attends Lakehead University and we v... what people say » isit him. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. I am a light sleeper and don't usually sleep well. No outside noise at all and slept l - We really enjoyed our weekend at the Stone Gate Inn. Our suite was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and the numerous choices. My granddaughter loved, loved the pool. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this hotel to others visiting Orillia. Diane, Gatineau, Quebec
