I booked the Wyndham Garden Niagara Falls because it had great reviews from previous guests and true enough, it was a wonderful hotel..It was new and clean and my room was so huge and comfy my partner and I wanted to spend most of our time enjoying it rather than go check out the Falls! The lobby was one the cutest I have come across and the reception staff were very polite, knowledgeable and professional. The hotel was also conveniently located very near to the Fallsview Casino and a Tims Hort.
all reviews » First time here. Booked online and it is exactly how the pics are online but better we absolutly loved this hotel we are defiantly going to make that our hotel of first choice . We go to Niagara Falls often and hard to choose a hotel without paying big bucks this one is affordable we got it at 99 a night online and the hotel is stunning clean and everyone is friendly defiantly coming back soon:) Thank you for a great experience I'll make sure to pass it on to everyone I know. We were a large family of 9 which included small kids to grand parents,the rooms were very clean an spacious they were also very well appointed with fluffy towels in the bathroom and quality sheets on the very comfy beds. there is a family restaurant attached to the hotel which is good value and the food is fairly good. I would defiantly stay here again. i liked that it was a newer hotel with laundry facilities. i notice hotels generally in ontario do not provide microwave or fridge in the general rate. paying for parking another way to gouge the customer. all in all though spent almost 2 weeks away from home and this was the best hotel i stayed at in this price range. We've stayed at this hotel once before because it had a special rate. The hotel is clean, the beds are very comfortable and the amenities are exceptional. I have a child with special needs so the location was great for walking and the pool was a hit. The room was so much more than I thought I had booked! I simply wanted a room with a king size bed. We walked in and the room was huge, there was a jacuzzi tub basically in the middle of the room and we had a beautiful view of the Skylon!. We stayed for one night but each staff member we encountered was cheerful, helpful, and provided all that we needed! The location was great, not too far from the Falls and activities but enough away to be quiet relaxing. It's in walking distance to the Falls, though you couldn't see them from our room at least. I didn't like having to pay extra for parking in addition to the cost of the room. We were hoping for a unique café or restaurant onsite, were a bit bummed it was Perkin's. Very unhappy with that. Extra costs on everything (TIF, parking, extra cot) translated into a big jump from what I originally budgeted to what I ultimately had to pay. 25% higher. The rooms and the indoor pool were small. You have to Pay for parking. View from the room was of the roof. Our room was next to the elevator. It was very noisy due to the elevator itself and from the other guests. Room was a bit pricey but most of the hotels in the area are too, due to it being a large tourist area. On-site Perkins restaurant lacks character. Pool hours Check out time. I wanted to book a reservation for a magic show and asked the front desk if they could book it. They said there is a public computer I can use and "it would be easier" if I could do it myself. Didn't like that. water pressure in showers was weak. Bathrooms could be just a little bigger. Stayed at other hotels and they had free shuttle passes for guests not here though dissapointed at that. No free breakfast. The room was a little on the small side. Disappointing. Although the staff were very friendly and helpful, they seemed to be a bit understaffed. We tried to call for toothpaste and the call was never answered. I eventually went down to the front desk and the girl at the desk said she was the only one at the desk and she wasn't able to answer any calls. The breakfast could be included in the price of the stay. Minor negative - toilet paper hard to unravel off of roll - frustrating to only be able to get teeny pieces. The sound proofing between the rooms could've been better, especially in bathrooms and entrance doors. The bar was far too expensive for what you received, and the Perkins left a little to be desired. room small, request of early check in not met, definately need hangers in bathroom for towels. To short of a visit would have enjoyed it better if we were on other side of hotel. The parking fees and the $50 extra charge added to your nightly rate is ridiculous. Can't think of anything. Trying to be green about the towel use , but not a towel bar to be found to hang the towels to dry . No grab bars of any type to help in exiting the tub area . a small fridge would be nice. Bartender on duty while we were there was awful ! Perkins prices outrageous !!. Room didn't come with a mini fridge - this was an additional paid option Parking cost seemed high - parking lots nearby were cheaper. open parking lot. nothing. Parking lot fees. bathroom a little small air conditioner was quite loud. had to wait quite some time to book in as there was a good line up, with only one person processing the reservations at the time we booked in. Not enough elevators for the capacity of the hotel. It takes long time to wait. I was given a handy cap accessible room no bath tab I didn't like it. A lots of kids running around in the hall ways at night it was so noisy. One server in the restaurant was very unfriendly. The noise from the elevator sounded like a plumber's snake! The noise from the outside hallway was very loud in the room. paying extra for parking. pool was cold.
