Great staff, location and price!

To take a shower was whether too hot or too cold.

For the most part, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I was booked under the wrong name but the staff on duty promptly fixed that error and helped me check in. The staff member that I mention below then showed me to the room I was staying in and answered all my questions well. The other guests in the room were very quiet. It was a ten bed room, and it reminded me of being at summer camp (which is a good thing). I was very happy with my experience and I would definitely do it again!

When I was trying to check in, the staff member on duty was engaged in a long conversation with another guest about her life and took some time to attend to myself and other guests. Also, when I booked on letsbookhotel.com I paid $72, but upon checking in I discovered that I still had to pay an additional $80. I think this is because the $72 went to letsbookhotel.com and the $80 was for Le Jazz St. Denis. I'm not completely sure, but I just wanted other people to be aware of this.

Reception staff. Value for money. Location. Some rooms

There are huge difference among rooms. Sometimes is better 8room dormitoy then 4-room dormitory in eachs ense, and this is not god at all. As you paid more for worse!!

Great location, very easy to see a lot of interesting things in Montreal. Had some good suggestions of places to go from the Hostel as well as lots of resources in the form of advertisements for local events. They had a fridge and stove for cooking your own meals.

The shower had some temperature issues, fluctuated a lot. The breakfast was very picky about when you could eat and fairly chaotic in the morning. Provided breakfast was only the basics, but the location makes up for it.

The walls are paper thin, you only get bed sheets but no blanket, the bathrooms are tiny and in poor condition, not much to eat for breakfast, wifi was only usable on the first floor.
