  I enjoyed the pool and way it was set up., particularly as it was divided into in essence a shallow and deep pool. Very good for young children. The hot tub was also a great addition. Newspaper was nice - Steven at the front desk was VERY helpful. He set up our internet in the room on the laptop. He was very busy helping other people as well. A very good employee.   We stayed there for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. It was close to everything and the breakfast was wonderful and filling. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The 2 gentlemen on the front desk were very helpful and made us feel right at home.   The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding. We had a problem with the air conditioning. Someone came to look at it and said it was working fully but that the room was not cooling. They gave us keys to another room and said we could have whichever room was the most comfortable. The beds and pillows are the best. - The bed was comfortable... what people say » . It was nice having the mall attached. You could not hear anything outside the room (traffic, kids, etc.) Skating on the canal was great! There were lots of choices to eat very close.

  The room was quite comfortable and clean. It was perfect having the desk space as I could set up and work there during the evening. The couch was perfect for watching TV rather than having to sit/lie on the bed. The location was perfect -- halfway between my son's apartment (university student) and the Byward Market. The staff were very friendly ... what people say » and always eager to help. Overall, great value for the money!!! - The hotel is "hidden from view" as it were. It is a bit out of the way (and close to a somewhat run down area), yet in reality, super-close to everything that matters in downtown Ottawa, and easy access to transportation. So, lesser known which gives it a good price for an excellent location. And rooms spacious for the size. Young staff very helpful and polite.
