  restaurant was good and staff was excellent - We really enjoyed our stay and the closeness to all areas. The staff were wonderful, especially when we had a concern about the heat in our room, and the coffee machine was replaced quickly when discovered not working.

  Really can't beat the bang for your buck . Really nice room and very comfortable beds. There is a breakfast buffet at the ptarmigan hotel where you check in to the driftwood and for $14 , gst and tip included, you eat like a king and have bottomless juice and coffee. Very pleasant stay. - Good value for money. But you get what you pay for. A bit ... what people say » older furniture, but all good for one night in banff. You check in and can use the facilities of the adjecent hotel for half the price. Good location close to everything.
