  Large comfortable rooms. Ultra clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful indoor pool area with large hot tub. Awesome location in downtown Banff, within walking distance to everything in town. Parking underneath the lodge, in a town where there is little to no parking. - We had a great weekend in Banff and will definitely stay at the Banff Park L... what people say » odge again. Comments: freindly & helpful staff excellent food (and good value) very comfortable room great pool & steam room most convenient location - the view of the mountains is extraordinary. the conference was in the hotel so easy access. The underground parking and again easy walking access to everything. the sink outside of the bathroom was great as well as the little fridge.

  We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park). We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car. We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf... what people say » f, who always smile and give a warm and friendly greeting, and that includes all the staff we met either indoors or outdoors. We love seeing the wildl - The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

  The place was really well kept, and spacious. great location. - the room had a nice view, the hotel has a great location. There was no luxury but the room had all the comfort.
