  On the morning of my arrival I arrive very early in Leuven, way too early for check in. The girl invited me in anyway, could store my luggage, warm up, charge my laptop and even got coffee. Very nice and flexible gesture.   Very helpful personnel. Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room. The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. A large bike parking lot right next to the hotel. - The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route
