The location is excellent. I brought a relative to Leuven while I worked and this is a perfect place to stay. It is on a square of restaurants, across the street from the train/bus stations, and with a pedestrian walk around the far side of the building towards the incredibly beautiful centre of town . We had the corner room on the 1rst floor with the balcony. A nice big room. Clean and attractive bathroom. Leuven is a university town it is filled with restaurants, young people and energy.

The admosphere is a bit 'maigret'like, also because on the floor there is a cafe and the square outside is full of busy terraces. You would expect that on this location there is much noise in the night but this is not the case. It is rather quite in fact. The location was excellent, it was cross of the train station. It takes more or less 10-15 minutes to grote markt-oude markt (longest bar in europe) Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite, breakfast was really really good. Price is very good for the quality. I wil stay here if I go leuven again. The staff is very nice and the food in the bar is very good. They provide soap and lotion, also the furnitures and bed are useful and make us comfortable. It's just outside the railway station,very good location. Very clean rooms. The only thing that I can say is that the staff were friendly and hospitable. And the place is the location was convenient as the hotel was located next to the railway station. Location. - The hotel is very close to railway station and bus stand. My mother had some concern negotiating the steep stairs onto the 1rst floor for the rooms. In the morning however there is a lot of noise by on and off riding busses, . The staircase looks a bit shabby, because of the worn lining. Nothing. Everything was excellent. The cleaning staff knocked at the door everyday around 10 or 11 just to remind us to get up so that she can do the cleaning,which made us a little bit embarrassed. This is the third time I've been here. This time I noticed how loud it can be, there is a square of bars right outside the bedroom windows. If you are a light sleeper this might be a problem. Also, when I went with my mother she found the curving stairs down (tight and small steps) to be a little intimidating. -Shower not so hot. The hallways were ugly and damaged. There was no lift, just narrow staircase. Quite the contrast with the rooms. It was very hot when I arrived and the lack of air-conditioning was a problem. Fortunately, I had a room with a door to a balcony and was able to keep it open. As well there was a fan. A bit noisy from outside activities when window is open. No private parking if you go by car (parking fee in public area is very expensive). no elevators, steep staircase. Noisy surrounding (late night), the entrance and the stairway. The reception area is minimal and the steps to the upper floors bedraggled and unkempt. The lighting in the room was minimal, tho' the bathroom was bright. -No elevator. No free parkng. Some wifi problems. No lifts, but the style and build if the hotel could not accomodate them, so it is just the way it is. The resturant opening and closing time in the hotel directory is misleading and should be change immediately. No airconditioning in the rooms, at nights it was hot inside and very loud outside. still discrete smell of (cigarette)smoke in the building (i guess because of past exposures). Hard to find the entrance. No Tea and coffee in the room. nightly noise of neighbouring cafe next to my room in the middle of the night. no airco. the price at the end was higher that the one that it supose that i had to pay when i made my booking in letsbookhotel.com. I did not like that there was a disturbing sound from the tv, when it was switched on. The blankets were too warm, for the season. there were no coffee or tea facilities. Hotel did not match the pictures on the website. There was no air conditioning. Breakfast was too modest. Repair was old. The hotel said that the room will not be cleaned. The room was cleaned and towels changed only after we asked for it. This hotel I would choose only if not would have found another, and only for a day or two. A bit far from the town centre, but still doable on foot. Breakfast starts only at 8AM on Saturdays. Stairs and reception area need a lick of paint. walls and doors are not very soundproof. very cold, heating not very powerful. Hallways urgently need renovation. Proximity to bus station makes for noisy rooms, especially during daytime. The waterstream in the shower was very weak ...... No heating. - Room is small - Entrance of the hotel is unnoticeable. Also, no proper board or neon display showing the name of the hotel - Hotel seems to be very old and not worth its high tariff.
