Extremely friendly staff. We didn't arrive until 0100 and the staff were extremely accomodating, arranging for someone to be there to let us in and show us to our room. Room was clean and in very accessible area. Breakfast was good. Friendliness of staff and location. Easy to find, and a nice area. calm hotel; provide simple food at very reasonable price; in the center of town; possibility to sit outside enjoying a beer.

Breakfast room is really nice and well decorated, offering a glimpse of the past. Used due to convienience to Leuven Railway Station. The breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is good, very close to the train station.Close to the railway station. Only complaint was that the noise in the morning was loud outside the room and woke us up before we were ready.difficult to find free parking for the night - some street noise during the night. noisy. We were lucky; construction on the street outside meant that there was no traffic at night. However, normally it could be noisy and there are no inside rooms. The early birds got the scrambled egg, the later ones had only bacon.to noicy. Lack of lift. Corridors, staircases and even rooms did lack some more lights. Separation between breakfast room and cafeteria (general public) is not clear: witnessed a couple attempting to use places reserved for hotel guests (dishes and glass on the table).Only one room was reserved instead of the two that were confirmed. The room/floors are old and should be renovated. Floors were very 'squicky' and you can hear any slight movement. I didnt have a good night sleep becos of noise/movements.the rooms had been double booked so we were moved to the top floor, there was party in the next room which did not end until 4-30am, to make matters worse the party goers were ill in both rest rooms and down the corridor. not getting any sleep until 4-45am and then getting up at 6-30 having to work the whole day and then drive back to Southampton UK was not ideal. For a non-smoker, it was extremely unpleasant to stay there. The breakfast area was very smoky, so was the rest of the hotel. Reeked of smoke all over.I didn't like the hotel at all. smoky restaurant and reception, bad service, lousy breakfast, the sheet felt dirty and as well the towels.
