  Only a couple of mins from Gare du Midi, this hotel was not only convenient but also clean, very comfortable and centrally located. About 20mins walk from Grande Place. The booking had not been changed as requested from 2 doubles to 1 triple, but the receptionist (manager?) offered us a family room at no extra cost. We did not use any other facilities as it was a late check in and early check out. - The staff person who checked us in and out was friendly, efficient, and helpful. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and that set the tone for the entire stay. Kudos to that associate; I wish I could recall his name. Also, the hotel was very comfortable and quiet, and the room was well appointed. The sound proof windows worked like a charm even though our room was over a busy street. The location was good for us because we used the Midi station coming and going and for a day trip.

  Although we were booked into a room on the 7th floor (and not 1st or 2nd as I requested) the receptionist was happy to change us immediately, and we had a very comfortable and spacious room on the 3rd floor, which was fine.   There was nothing that we disliked about the hotel. Personally we prefer to be "off the beaten track" which this hotel was. It was just oustide the city centre but on the tour bus route.   everything was very good, the rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated. Breakfast was fine too, I really can't think of any dislikes concerning this hotel. - The staff were attentive and excellent.
