Great and beautiful place full of love and care. Wonderful place to sightseeing region of Salzkammergut, especially Salzburg. Everyday hotel served fresh breakfast from local products, everything nice. Personel very kind and ready to help, rooms spacious and clean, beautiful view from the balcony. Near the center of st. Wolfgang and lake. Very nice hotel with family atmosphre. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. Excellent location and our room had the lake view which was beautiful. Also breakfast is served in a beautiful room and the owner´s hospitality gives you the feeling of being at home. Parking provided.
all reviews » Great location, just 5 minutes walk from the St Wolfgang im Salzk. Markt bus station. Our room has a Balcony with Lake view, strongly recommended this type of room. The Lake view is nice. Nice breakfast and restaurant environment, I feel like I'm having breakfast at my home. The owner and staff were very friendly. The hotel was very cozy and warm...giving us as guests the feeling of being home. The location of the hotel is very nice and the terrace had a view of the lake and the church. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very nice and comfortable stay. Absolutely kind atmosphere in hotel Anzengruber mainly because of friendly and professional behivor of the Lady , owner. my best regards and we will be back . :). The accommodations are top notch. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The location is perfect for both St. Wolfgang and visiting the other lakes in the area.Barbara could not be nicer. Breakfast start at 8.15am, is too late for us who need to catch the early bus. Absolutely no negatives. This is a perfect 10. Adding free wifi for the rooms would be a an excellent addition and something most people come to expect. Purchase of a wireless router would do this with minimal cost. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Hotel could not process payment of account on my credit card which is signature only. Had to pay cash for our stay which was inconvenient. Havent had this issue at any other hotel. Everything was great. This is not a criticism of Hotel Garni as it is not the only hotel in St Wolfgang with this 'problem' and that is the ringing of the church bells over 24 hours, every quarter hour, half hour and on the hour with a cacophony at 7 am. Not exactly conducive to a relaxing holiday. It is unfathomable why the church feels the need to do this. The tolling of church bells is a beautiful sound but throughout the night - no. No elevator, some times the cleaning lady forgets the cleaning rags in the room. And the room is a bit cold. Nothing. - Can not use credit card (from Booking confirmation letter it said that the hotel accept credit card payment) - Extra charge for kid's breakfast (the hotel's staff didn't mention previously). Some of the food we have had for breakfast were not good , it was because their date expired. The owner's attitude is not really friendly and not helpful. Whenever I asked question,she frowned;it made me feel bad. the carpets in the room are really old and it seems not washed for a long time. staff wasn't kind.
