Excellent service at the hotel made it a pleasant stay. Wolfgang even went out of his way to help us book tickets to the railway train & gave us recommendations on where to go on rainy days, which was much needed with a 2.5 yr old toddler in tow.
Our room was very clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped.
There was a good selection at that buffet breakfast as well as a big collection of toys in the children's corner which kept our toddler very happy.

The stuff was very kind and cheerful. The breakfast area was nicely designed and the food they served was diversified and in good quality. The rooms were spacious comfortable; the rooms in the old building has a historical atmosphere while the rooms in the newer building has a contemporary color presumably co-ordinated elaborately. -

I stayed two nights at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. I stayed in a surprisingly large "single" room, with a "sideview" of the lake. The room was pleasant and supplied with all amenities, and I particularly enjoyed having a comfortable spot for my netbook; Their wifi connection was excellent. We spent 5 lovely days in Landhous Fay at the beginning of May. The house is situated probably in the best part of Bad Ischl, surrounded by pure nature and still close to the town (about 5-10 minutes by car). Rene and Mark are lovely couple, always helpful and with good advice when it comes to places worth visiting. We were also very satisfied with our room which was very nice designed, so as dinning room. We highly recommend Landhous Fay as a perfect place to stay.
